The image at the center of my wide emblem is most prominent in the family and entertainment discourse areas of the mystory I have compiled. It depicts a trio of palm trees, growing among a stand of pines and hardwoods at the Round Marsh. The pines harken back to my experiences of life in Colorado and Oregon, and the palms point forward to my life and my family here in Florida.
The motto "I Still Have Time" evokes the sting of my forays into the wilderness, which improve my physical and mental health through exercise and meditation with nature. It also evokes the optimistic philosophy that there are more stories to write, and that my trips into the wilderness will yield productive inspiration in the future.
"Novus auctus" is Latin for "new growth." As I move into the next stages of my life, I must remain cognizant that my timeline is still evolving, and that there are many more resonant events to memorialize there.
